I live in midcoast Maine and have been gardening for over 20 years. I opened my landscaping business in 2010 after realizing that gardening was the only activity I could do for the entire day without looking at the time. Although this meant that on many summer evenings my family did not get dinner until after 9 PM, it was also a sign. I love my work and am nowhere happier than when outside talking to plants.

I am a certified Master Gardener and Permaculture Designer.

I inherited my passion for color from my mother, along with great joy in working with my hands. These are some of her paint tests, with a few of the butterflies she could never resist picking up when we found them along the roadsides.
